	Each bed & breakfast contains unique characteristics to accommodate a wide variety of personal preferences.
	Members adhere to high standards of cleanliness, hospitality, and guest comfort.
	Breakfast is always served on the premises.
	Each bed & breakfast clearly state their rates and cancellation policies, hard copies available.
	Reservations are guaranteed with a credit card or a deposit.
	The Association self monitors its members.
	We share a referral network among our members     Press Policy   Because our bed & breakfasts are small properties and owner-occupied, they sometimes cannot be as generous with hosting members of the media as they might wish they could. Whenever possible they do enjoy cooperating with writers seeking more information on their area for a specific article goal. Some guidelines to consider when making your request:
	Sunday through Thursday night stays are preferred.
	There are many seasonal differences during the year in Galveston. Whenever possible we appreciate your consideration these differences may pose.
	We regret we do not have an airline partner to assist in your travel plans.
	Writer and one guest staying in the same room will be comped. Other family members or friends will typically be requested to pay the rack rate or a reduced rate.
	We request that a letter of assignment or an indication of intent for the story be furnished.
